Free Travax CME!

Travax

Travax users can obtain up to 20 hours of Category 1 AMA Credit annually when using Travax for patient care-based research. You must first create a personal account to track your credit. From the Travax home page, scroll down to the box with the heading “Announcing Personal Accounts with Free CME Options for Travax.” Follow the directions to create your personal account. When creating your account, select “Yes” for the “Enable Account for CME” option. Each time you log into Travax using your personal account, you will be prompted to select whether you desire to obtain CME for your research (your session will be tracked) or whether you prefer to complete your research anonymously (in which case CME cannot be obtained). The Program for Monitoring Emerging Diseases (ProMED) is a program of the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID). Launched in 1994 as a service to identify unusual health events related to emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases and toxins, it is a source of information for clinicians and laboratorians, providing timely reporting of important emerging pathogens and their vectors. It is the largest publicly-available system conducting global reporting of infectious diseases outbreaks.
