Accelerated Pay Periods

Please check the staff calendar and make sure you have your leave entered. Everyone should have their leave planned and requested for the rest of the year. "Payroll recommends that if employees know their schedule already for December 17th thru December 30th Pay Period, that they enter the time during the December 3rd thru December 16th Pay Period.  While it cannot be certified until ATAAPS allows the supervisor to do so, it can be entered ahead of time before many folks will be off to minimize the need for the Timekeepers or Payroll to enter it on their behalf if forgotten about." 

• December 3rd thru December 16th – This is not an accelerated pay period.  This will be a normal submission timeframe.
• December 17th thru December 30th – This will be an accelerated Pay Period since January 1st is the Monday right after.  Time will most likely need to be entered and certified by 12/27/23 but we will confirm the date as soon as received from DFAS.*
• December 31st thru January 13th – This will be an accelerated Pay Period since January 15th is MLK day on the Monday right after.  Time will most likely need to be entered and certified by 01/10/24 but we will confirm the date as soon as received from DFAS.
• January 14th thru January 27th – This is not an accelerated pay period.  This will be a normal submission timeframe.
