About the Library: Darnall Medical Library

Our Mission

Information is an essential tool for healing; therefore, it is our mission to ensure access to peer-reviewed research, personalized services, exceptional education, and collaborative opportunities to healthcare providers in support of the medical readiness and care of those we are privileged to serve.

Our Vision

The Darnall Medical Library’s goal is excellence. We envision the library, beyond walls, as the heart and soul for the thoughtful exchange of ideas to inform a smarter, healthier, more equitable hospital enlightened by evidence, empathy, and expertise. We aspire to be proactive, agile, and ever-evolving to accommodate our patrons as the healthcare landscape shifts.

The Darnall Medical Library (DML) is located on the third floor of building 1 (the Tower), in the south wing. Turn left when you get off of the central elevators and go to the end of the hallway. We're open limited hours due to COVID, but you can always see our hours by looking at the banner along the top of the library page.
