Quality Analysis

Bibliometrics - “application of various statistical analyses to study patterns of authorship, publication, and literature use” (Lancaster, 1977).
Citizen bibliometrics - conducted by researchers and other individuals using Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar and other databases to assess the publication and citation, impact factor, h-index of induvial researchers
Professional bibliometrics - bibliometric analysis conducted by professional specialists in bibliometrics using bibliometric software to analyze published articles in Web of Science, Scopus, and other databases to assess the field-normalized indicators of research organizations
Scientometrics - measurement of science and technology (Moed, 2005).
