    method of researcher disambiguation. ORCID provides a researcher with a unique identifier that distinguishes researchers from other researchers in the scientific community

    International Standard Name Identifier ​ISO global standard method for the unique identification of the researchers across all fields of creative activity and those who are distributing their creative work 
  • ​Web of Science ResearcherID
    ​    Web of Science unique researcher identifier used to solve the problems of author identification and correct attribution of researcher works
  • Publon - open source platform to track publication, citation metrics, peer-reviews, and manage profile 
  • Science Experts Network (SciENcv) - NSF approved format for biosketch and information for federally funded research
