CINAHL Plus with Full Text
CINAHL offers 170 CE modules accredited by both the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation and the International Association for Continuing Education and Training. Each CE module consists of course material, an interactive review, and a competency test with a certificate of completion. Depending on the course, it can take from one to several hours to complete a CE course. Course materials may be read online or printed for study purposes. You cannot save a partially-completed course exam and return to it at a later time. To obtain the CE Units, you must take and pass the course’s CE Module exam. Please see CINAHL's help sheet for further information.
Physicians may earn 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit through the Cleveland Clinic Center for Continuing Education for each search conducted through ClinicalKey. To access and track credits, you must first create a personal “My ClinicakKey” account. Simply click on the “Register” link at the top of the page and follow the directions. Once logged in, run your search and access the relevant content. Click on the white “CME” icon just above the title in the citation to request credit. Note: Not all content is eligible for CME credit, so the white “CME” icon will not appear in every record.

Nurses can earn up to 1.5 Clinical Update CEs for an update after reading the article, passing a post test, and submitting an evaluation. RNs are the intended target group for the Clinical Updates CE, but contact hours can be earned by LPNs, APNs, and allied health professionals provided they successfully complete the requirements. Mosby’s is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
