DML Committee: Home

The DML Committee serves as a multidisciplinary forum to:

• Assist in DML’s decision-making process in order to maintain a current, authoritative, and relevant professional collection of biomedical information resources.
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness of DML in meeting the information and educational needs of its users.
• Align DML’s resources and services with institutional priorities and growing demands.
• Establish priorities in the acquisition of systems, equipment, and services.
• The Committee will meet quarterly at the call of the chairperson, and minutes will be submitted to the Graduate Medical Education Department Chief.

The Committee will consist of the following representatives that must be either military or government civilian:

Library Medical Director
Supervisory Librarian
One Representative from Enlisted Training (1 Vacancy)
Two Medical or Nursing Officers from the Directorate of Clinical Support Services (1 Vacancy)
Two Medical or Nursing Officers from the Directorate of Medicine (1 Vacancy)
Two Medical or Nursing Officers from the Directorate of Surgery (1 Vacancy)
One Representative from the Directorate of Behavioral Health
Two or three House Staff Representatives (2-3 Vacancies)
One Dental School Officer
One Representative from Department of Research Programs (1 Vacancy)
One Representative from Department of Hospital Education and Training (HEAT)
