  • PubMed Tutorial for author, topics, article search 
  • PubMed search using a PubMed Identifier (PMID)
    Enter the article ID with or without the search field tag [pmid]. To search for several PMID's - enter each number in the PubMed search box separating numbers by a space. The search is conducted using OR for entered numbers. 
  • PubMed search using a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) 
    • Select Advanced Search Builder in PubMed. Select the search term - ID Location - from Advanced Search Builder. Enter DOI number without DOI term into the search box. After adding the term to the query box, conduct a search. 
    • Select Basic Search  in PubMed. Enter the DOI number into the PubMed search basic search box and conduct the search.
